About Me
Hi! My name is Christine "Cricket"
Nauman. I am the owner/propagator of Cricket's Garden Native
Wildflower Nursery. I have loved wildflowers since I was a little
girl. Growing up, I spent lots of time among the wildflowers on my
parents 10 acres of woodland backyard in Eastern Washington. Each
spring and summer, I enjoyed taking walks and seeing all of the
beautiful wildflowers that grew there. As I grew up, I became more
and more interested in these plants. I followed my passion for
wildflowers to college where I studied Natural Resource Management at
Washington State University. I then continued my education to the
University of Idaho where I received a Masters of Science degree in
Forest Resources. I focused on germination of native plants and
nursery management.

After years of collecting and enjoying these plants in my own garden, I decided to share my experiences with others that have an interest in native plants. I wanted to be able to help people learn how wonderful these plants are and how they can be used in our gardens and landscapes. I hope to share my experiences with anyone that is interested. I hope you enjoy my website. It is always a work in progress. Please contact me if you have any questions or comments. Thank you!
